Hello, long time since laste time now... But I have bought a new car for this project ;) So this yellow one goes to junkyard because much rost...

The new car is a 320 from 1993, with 306 000 km...

Picture from the day i got it ;)





To this day I have changed:
- Wheelbearing left and right side in back
- Camber and toe in and out struts in back
- Handbrake wire and shoes
- Ball joint left side in front
- ``Absorber top`` in front
- H&R sportspring
- Exhaust (from catalystor and backwards)
- leather interior

Those ``absorber tops`` had seen bether days :P

So now I need som new wheels and rims, change one brake tube in front and take a steering controll before this ``EU controll``

Yes, it`s nice with 4-matic here in winter, but it`s much salt in road here where I live. So there is not much problem like this big ship ;) Just have to be careful with the throttle sometimes ;) But I have`nt driven a car like this on snow, so need to be little careful when the day come :P

But now I have taken a steering control and change headlamp + blink right side front + adjusted lamps ;)




To Monday I hope i get new brakepads in front, and after that the car will go through EU-controll :)

As far as i know, the best against salt is Perma Film. It covers the rost so that it stops for the next years (you can´t get 100% off, so there will always stay a rest of it under the car).
If you use the search function (Forum durchsuchen) in the head of this page you can find pictures of cars which got Perma Film 10 years ago. They still look new. Seems to be great chemic :D.

The first car wash in mine property, I dont think this car have been washed often.

If good fixasion, I have to change front and rear bumber + side fenders and left,rear door before paint

Since one of the car in the garage had to go to workshop, I got parked the estate beside one of my W201 :)




I think I have to take the picture of all 3 Benz`s I have, together one time... :P

i assume that you had some aftermarket stuff mounted, these got lost pretty often...

in case you had original ones you simply installed them wrong! :D

I see previous owner have fixed car with some ``bolts`` on front and rear bumper... Not exactly nice :P






And when I washed the car this evening, I spotted that glass in headlamp left side need to be glued on again.... :P

Today I have changed ventilator to kupè and motor to windscreen wiper ;)





But I have too check why the motor start ``chasing``, when its warm and put girbox in D or R and hold the brake at the same time. Sometimes it starts ``chasing`` in P also without holding brake at the same time.

Is there someone here who have had the similiar problem ??

Long time since last time now, but I have found out what was wrong with the motor. After read out motor codes, and the only code the car said was airsensor. So after i changed this, the car was good again :)

And in the beginning of this week, i have changed girbox oil + filter, differensial oil, wheelbearing in right side front and stabilizer bushings in front.

I also got new rims to the car, 18"x8" with 225x40 tyres





This man i bought it from said it would fit with ET35, but it don`t fit. Need 8 mm with spacers in front, because of the brakepump :(

So I have to modify sidefenders, when I change old sidefenders to new sidefenders
